Watch out for the color

The shirt fabric and weight is great. I bought it on sale and got the 'gin' color. The color on the website isn't as bright as the shirt turned out to be. It's more like a lime green; not as grey/sage as it looked on the site. The color is perfect for blondes. Not terrible on me but not great either. I gave it to a (blonde) friend who loves it.

Outstanding fit
Columbia Adventure Stretch Short - Women's

These shorts fit perfectly with no gaps at the waist. Both pockets zip shut: not major cargo space but perfect for cash and keys. Fabric breathes well, so excellent for hot hikes. They fall lower on the hips and don't require a belt but do require a longer t-shirt.
