Plain sweatshirt
DC Star Full Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's
May 22, 2008
A ordinary full zip. The zipper and buckle are brass colored metal, I personally prefer plastic since metal tend to cut my throat. The sweater is quite thin and the sizing is not as big as expected. This shirt in M will be slimfit with to short selves on a 5' 11" (182cm) slender (171 lbs/78 kg) man. I ended up giving away mine to a girl.

Right out awesome style but crap quality
Nixon Zoom Full-Zip Sweatshirt - Men's
May 22, 2008
This hood was so awesome! Loved the color, love the style - until the first wash ... Let me give you the love first: I love the fact that it's reversible. It will not only look sick reversed it will also get slimmer, which for me is a added bonus. The Yellow looks dope reversed, actually nicer than right way out. The white one is a bit to plain. And now over to the letdowns: The print looks so good on the images, but ones you put the sweater on you notice it can get a little to big. But this is just a matter of taste. The one thing that do suck with this sweater however is its quality. Washed mine for the first time today, all the black print fell off and the lining got really worn. My washing machine is no old piece of junk eider. This sweater looks like it's been washed 15-20 times after one wash ... not cool.

Two hats for the price of one
Burton Silverman Beanie
May 22, 2008
It's a beanie. You can reverse it. What more to say? It's thin, probably best for spring/summer. It's long; got to zag it hard or squash it back, it's to thin and long to use as a East 17 style top hat ... Not that I think you would like to look like a 90's boyband singer anyway (not judging your style if you do). The white one is white when reversed, the infrared is infrared. For $15 you get two hats. Awesome.

Your average wet but stylish glove
DAKINE Bronco GT Glove
April 25, 2008
The Dakine Bronco glove is a low cut no thrills glove that does what it suposed to: keeps your hand warm, even when wet - which they will be, trust me. After three months they white ones are still flashy and nice. The leather has gotten quite warn and yellowish, but I do drag my hands a lot when doing my stuff (handstands, surf turns, digging kickers - that kind of stuff) and it actually was yellowish when I got them. One of the fingers started to fall apart, but some thread and needle fixed that right up. The sizing seams a little weird, the fingers are short and fat and the wrist big. I usually wear a size 8 glove (European size) so i got the Medium. They don't fit all that super, but I do have piano fingers. The liner is real nice on cold days, but on warmer days when your hands get sweaty and wet from snow the lining will stick to your hands and get pulled a little out of place when removing the glove. No biggy but a little annoying. All in all I would by the Bronco for style, not comfort.

Ridiculously light but a bit stiff and clammy
ThirtyTwo Ultralight Snowboard Boot - Men's
January 14, 2008
The name serves these boots right! 550 grams each boot, ridiculous. The boot is stiffer than expected, although they seam to soften after a couple of days. The lining is composed of a material that don't breath that much and feels a bit like a wet suit on your feet. However they do keep your foot warm given that you don't stand still for too long. I normally end up quite sweaty in -5C (23F). On the upside the boot dries out in a matter of minutes and do not seam to smell. Like most 32 boots there's quite a lot of room for your toes. With a standard toe strap this works fine, but it might be a problem with toe-caps. The boots quality doesn't seam all that rigid. The lases have begun to splinter and the shell shows signs of wear after two weeks of riding. All in all a good boot that seams to expensive for it's quality. Works good on big kickers and fast runs on a medium-stiff/stiff board. But to stiff for jibbing with soft boards. But by far the lightest boots ever (at least that I know of)!
