This jacket has the best of both worlds! The softshell parts are for comfort and mobility, and the hardshell parts are essential for water- and wind-proofing. This is the lightest shell I have ever owned. The cut in the large is perfect for my 6 foot, 200 pound frame. If you are taller than average this jacket is for you because it is long enough in the back to accommodate for that.

This is my first Marmot garment, and I am extremely impressed. Very weather-proof whether it is snowing a little bit or a lot and surprisingly breathable. I also like the pockets because they are not in silly places like a lot of pants these days. I highly recommend these pants to the most demanding skiers.

these pants are ridiculously warm as well as comfortable. I skied in subzero temperatures in vail late in december and my legs stayed warm all day. long in the leg but i prefer that over an inseam that is too short. the large is roomy enough for my trunky legs. great product.

this shell is amazing. light weight and cut perfectly making mobility effortless. long in the back where it needs to be. storm hood rules and has plenty of room for my helmet. great shell with immaculate wind-and waterproofing.
