I love rock-climbing. Really. From the first day I stepped into a harness and looked up at the rock, I fell in love with climbing. And you know what got me? The control. I love that climbing is a mix of physical tasks, intelligence, skill and intuition. It is chess; every move has to be worked out in terms of effort, balance and consequence. Climbing is thinking with your body. It is physically challenging, but also mentally engaging. It's puzzle solving.

Great knife

This is a great knife. As previous reviewers have noted, the side-ways opening action takes a little getting used to , but once you do it feels natural. Comfortable and light, the knife is the right size for many back country tasks. I have this knife in my climbing gear both for weight and easy of use with one hand.

Perfect for snowboarding

I use this jacket for snowboarding and love it. It is warm enough on its own for warmer days (+25 or so). When I fist got it I put a fleece under it and it was too warm. The hood is very adjustable, which is nice. The wrist gaiters and the waist gaiter are a great feature. It is roomy without being bulky and the pockets are great.
