The Vasque Mercury Trail Running Shoe is sturdy and feels more like a hiking shoe than a running shoe. It has a nice wide toe bed, but the heel cup is a little shallow. Runs true to size.

Everything was comfortable--the sole, the color, the toe guard--except one strap that rubbed so unrelentingly on the inside of my foot that I didn't think I'd have the blister perseverance to wear them in. Too bad. Hopefully this is not a common problem because I would recommend them on every other count. Quick, easy, fun shoe. They fit true to size.

I loved the feel of the Slingshot Running Shoe. It is lightweight and has medium padding. The heel cup keeps the back of the foot in place just right; no up and down or rubbing. Just order a FULL size up. I usually wear a 37, so I ordered a 37.5. Should've tried the 38.
