Giro G9 Helmet- Womens

Giro G9 Helmet

Rating for this product: 5 January 30, 2008

Just skiied Hokkaido, Japan, minus 12 Celcius, and lots of trees. I chose to wear a ski-helmet for the 1st time in 35 years after breaking my bicycle one, and realising the consequences! This hemet was WARM(no beanie), light, comfortable and gave no goggle forehead gap. I initially bought a Medium- which was a little big even for my 57cm diam head. However it fitted my step-daughter, and a repeat purchase on the Small was great. The goggle catch is very secure, and there is an easy adjustment wheel. The pink floral design wasn't too lairy! Top marks!

"12 Year Old Small Boy Has Warm Hands In Powder" Very happy lad at -12C loving powder snow (and getting buried frequently) These gloves performed very well, and any small amount of moisture dried pretty well in a fairly sutffy locker. No complaints from Boy- gotta be a big bonus on the ski holiday!

Sequoia Gloves- womens

DAKINE Sequoia Gloves - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 30, 2008

LOVED these gloves! Light, VERY warm and stayed dry. I skiied powder at -12C Japan for 8 days- I didnt use the liners. The liners make for rather a snug fit, but are waarm light evening gloves. I Love the "anti-drop- off chairlift" draw-string, the concealed credit card/money pocket, the good cuffs, the easy wrist tightener and the clip-together function. I found sizing to be on the slightly large size, but the extra air-pocket in the fingers was good. Now just bring on MT Hotham wet in August!
