Columbia Titanium Mighty High Performance Hiking Sock

I might as well just write the description here in case you did not see the point. These socks are wonderful and a great bargain. I'm impressed.

Simply THE BEST From THE BEST

The North Face XTC Midweight Tight - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 8, 2008

I usually forget I have this pair of tights on when I wear them. Which is been almost everyday since I received them. They don't bunch back when pulling on other layers, provided you sized them right. And the bamboo fabric keeps odors almost non-existent. If your on the go most stains and odors WILL wash away if you just let water run through them for a bit and hang dry for like fifteen minutes. The North Face continues to amaze me. Amazing product at an extremely reasonable price. You would be crazy to not take this up.

YES and a little of NO

Lorpen Coolmax Trekking Crew Sock

Rating for this product: 3 January 8, 2008

The description is half right. It would not be a good idea to wear these in the summer as it will probably most likely not keep your feet dry from sweat. They pill a little here and there, but mostly when I'm just putting my boots on. After that it is smooth sailing. They seem to work best with water-proof breathable material like Primaloft. All in all they are comfortable and work best when you are trekking. They will not keep your feet warm without boots. Maybe a liner will do some good for that.

Very Nice

Petzl Zipka Plus Headlamp

Rating for this product: 4 January 8, 2008

This light is one of my new best friends. I started carrying it everywhere and have ran into situations where this did make life easier. The only con is I had to order replacement windows that aren't available on this site. The one that came on the lamp was probably pried off by my keys or something. I'm thinking about getting a case for it(available from Petzl) so this wont happen again. But that will only make it less easily accessible for when I need it with the quickness.

Simply Amazing

The North Face Venture Side Zip Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 8, 2008

I finally had the chance to use these last night. I live in Wisconsin and yesterday we had thunderstorms and tornadoes in January(scary and weired huh?) I donned these pants as well as all my other rain gear and set out to the lake to take pictures in the nastiest conditions we have seen this winter. These pants held out like a champ. After slipping down a completely water soaked grassy hill and trudging through one foot puddles to get the pictures I wanted, I was amazed at how my under layers and skin were completely dry. The only problem I had yesterday was I accidentally erased my photos. :-(

Right on the Money

The North Face Vortex Triclimate Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 26, 2007

This jacket is very warm. We have had below freezing twice in wisconsin so far and I really didnt need anymore layers besides the liner and shell. Together they are a perfect wind and water shield. My North Face brimmed beanie fits very nicely under the adjustable hood and I also try an find an excuse to wear the lining by itself as it very stylish, warm, and comfortable. The goggle pocket is also very tough and big. I use it to store my bag that contains my sony cyber-shot. Such a great winter product for those in the upper-Midwest seeking some maneuverability in their warmth.

Funky Fresh

Spy Stratos Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 5 November 24, 2007

These glasses are just plain awesome in both design and protection. The protection from sunlight to your vision is moderate but they do a great job at blocking wind on really cold days. Also, they will turn heads because they are so wonderfully deigned.

Absolutely a great bargin.

The North Face Bleu Light Trucker Visor Beanie

Rating for this product: 4 November 24, 2007

Most brimmed winter hats I buy are from Timberland and fall around the same price as this one. This one makes all pale in comparison. It is somewhat water resistant, windproof, and fits very well under my North Face Tri-climate's hood when it is up on windy days. The only drawback to this hat is that while you can pull the sides down to cover your ears more, the North Face logo on the back seems to pull the fabric back above your ears. Which does get annoying sometimes, but I love this hat too much to let this little drawback get to me. I'm not upset at all and neither will you. This hat is a very good buy if you live in Wisconsin or this area in general because it gets very cold here.
