Soft, Fuzzy Sweetness

The North Face Denali Thermal Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 May 22, 2008

It's too bad The North Face is discontinuing this product. It's amazingly warm, lightweight, and WAY more compressible than the traditional Denali jacket (which is a real burden once the temp. warms up and you have to stash it someplace). Still got the bomb proof construction people love with the Denali line. Yeah, people will probably want to pet you because you look like a warm, fuzzy creature, but it's usually accompanied by oohs and ahhs, which is kind of a warm fuzzy feeling in itself.

Good buy

MontBell America, Inc. Super Stretch Burrow #1 Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Synthetic

Rating for this product: 4 May 22, 2008

It's a little on the bulky side, but it's a synthetic cold weather bag (i.e., to be expected). The added bulk balances out when weighed against the added weight and discomfort of a soaked down bag of equal temp. ratings. Living in the Pacific Northwest, this is the way to go. Warm, comfy, and quality product.
