I bought the gamma SV in hopes of adding some thermal value to a windproof soft shell. It works well as long as you do not sweat much. If you sweat and do any moderate to high energy activity, expect to get wet on the inside of the jacket. Also, don't go too far away from some place to warm up. I was out working in the snow for about an hour and got real wet and cold. I stayed that way until I was able to get inside. The jacket does look good. Just think about what you are going to use it for.

If you do any kind of moderate to high energy activity and tend to sweat, expect to get wet. The venting is not effective by any means. The jacket gets very wet inside and stays wet for up to 3 hours. You may look cool walking into the bar at a ski resort, but that's about it.

Fits well, very wind resistant (winds around 55mph) and warm in snow conditions. Could get a little condensation inside the jacket when exerting energy.

Used it in 55mph wind and blizzard conditions. Keep warm, dry and vented very well when exerting energy. Highly recommended.
