Spy Griffin Sunglasses
April 18, 2008
unfortunately i don't get to cruise sunset blv with these but they still are pretty sick for just about everything else. Fairly light and don't slip off the face even when I'm sweating. Wish they came polarized but you cant have it all. Do feel really nice on the ears and fit a normal or medium sized head. All I need now is a graphic tee and i can be a douche from "the hills"

DAKINE Ez Traveler 120 Rolling Gear Bag - 7300cu in DO NOT USE
April 3, 2008
The bag is awesome! looks smaller than i expected but once i filled it to its brim with my junk i was suprized to fit most of my clothes and even my boots. Strong zippers too! the trip back will have hold more so good to know the bag will hold everything. Doesn't look cheap either, sharp bag.

The right stuff
Mammut Pulse Barryvox Avalanche Beacon
January 11, 2008
This thing is easy to use. Forget about all the extra fancy buttons that can confuse you when time is running out. Luckily I haven't had the chance to really use it outside a test environment but this beacon I know I can trust. Simple and effective is what best describes this beacon.

Great pants
686 Mannual Cranium Insulated Pant - Men's
January 11, 2008
these are simply sick pants, I got them blacks and they don't even look dirty unless I hit some serious mud in the thin snow. Breathe pretty well too when I'm sweating hard. As for keeping dry, they are unless I get snow shoved down my pants. over great pants for the price I paid

Ridiculous price for this thing
Forum Youngblood Freestyle Snowboard
January 11, 2008
Half way through the season and riding like day one. I don't know how it is standing up to the test of everyday powder and park but it continues to punch out smooth runs. Can't believe the price I paid but hey, I'm not complaining.

Sick gloves
Celtek The Pledge Glove - Men's
January 11, 2008
Perfect for the non sub zero days. Fun in the park and fit great on my hands and I never worry about snow getting in anywhere. I don't know how the pads will hold up but they been lasting this season so far. Wish they were a lil warmer for the really cold days.

Slim fitting, no one knows I'm wearing them
Columbia Steens Mountain Light Weight Bottom -Women's
January 6, 2008
I wear these around in freezing windy Chicago. They fit under my jeans for the cold nights where I don't like freezing waiting for a cab. Also have worn them running and they kept my legs including my ankles warm because they didn't ride up like other thermal pants do sometimes.

Doesn't feel like I have thermal wear on
Marmot Lightweight Crew - Long-Sleeve - Men's
January 6, 2008
This is a great base layer for freezing conditions where you know will be working hard on the hill. I sweat and this thing does not stink because it wicks the sweat off and the cocona technology actually smells like coconut amazingly.

great thermal top
The North Face XTC Lightweight Crew Long Underwear Top - Women's
January 6, 2008
This thing is thin so i wear it without it bunching up under my shirts I slip on over it. I got the black one and it comes with some designs on the shoulder that aren’t bad but remind me of tattoos. This is a great top as a first layer in any cold conditions.

Slippin into these boots
Forum Destroyer Snowboard Boot - Men's
January 6, 2008
They aren’t the highest quality but they keep me warm and hold onto my feet so I can’t slip out them. The price is what kills me. No other deals are close to it. It does take a bit to get them just right but once on you have for the rest of the day. Wish they had an easier tightening system but they get the job done.

So nice, thin and warm
Backcountry.com Goat Liner Glove - Women's
January 6, 2008
I throw these on when I'm running through the woods, driving in my freezing car, and around town when it’s windy outside. They are super thin and block wind pretty well. They fit inside my other gloves when I've gone on hikes and need a little more protection from the outside. And the little goat grips make these gloves a hassle free endeavors for and situation because everything sticks.

DAKINE Twist Tote - Women's
January 6, 2008
My sister loves this bag and I never can find something she will like. Its small but you can actually fit more than a camera and a wallet in it (I saw her using it!). DAKINE makes good stuff even when its not on the mountain.

Nice gloves
Burton Approach Mitt - Men's
January 6, 2008
They run a little small so I had to take them back for mediums but they fit my real nice now. The glove liners are nice when you don't want to be a ninja turtle and be able to grab and eat stuff. Afterwards the mitts slip right back on and off I go. Super good waterproofing and keep me really warm. They don't feel like much but they deliver a lot.

Mountain Hardwear Thermadry Tights - Women's
January 6, 2008
My mom loves these pants. She’s from a distant forever warm country and cannot handle the colder elements of brisk windy winters. These defiantly keep her warm on her snowshoes walks and as well as around the house in the freezing early mornings in Michigan.

prAna Sophie Thermal Long-Sleeve Shirt - Women's
January 6, 2008
Thin thermal top that can be worn with company over. The prAna people got it down when they made this warm stylish thermal when they designed it for yoga masters. She might not be there but she warm enough and looks the part.

Easy bindings that deliver
Burton Cartel Snowboard Binding
January 6, 2008
These are light!! I was giddy taking off my old bindings and putting these on my board. The toe is perfect and keeps my dialed for every ride all day. I agree with park comment earlier, with the high backs things get a little cramped for grabs.

thin and super warm
Backcountry.com The Goat Helmet Liner
January 6, 2008
This fits amazing under my helmet. Does not pull down over my eyes when I'm slipping the helmet over it. I have even used it under the hats that don't keep me warm enough and no one knows. The cap has been working great for cold weather jogs and with keeping my ears warm and holding the heat in.

nice wallet
Nixon Business Class Card Wallet - Men's
January 6, 2008
This is a sick wallet. Not that big but not too small. The threads give some extra style as compared to the leather competitors. Has plenty of room for ID's and cards but a little slim fits for the bills. The wallet comes with an insert that can hold extra cards. Sometimes I only bring the thin insert. Besides the insert I usually stick the wallet and its nice compartment slips.

Good from the city to the hill

straight up stunna
Smith Domino Sunglasses
November 20, 2007
Ok these sunglasses are sick. They may not have bars across the eyes like Kanye's in the Stronger video but you will be turning heads all the same. They look huge but don't cover your whole head. Straight up stunna. These sunglasses are full of style. Perfect for driving and distracting others on the road or just bumming around on sidewalks while taking in glances.

So nice...
Spy Omega Goggles - Mirror Lens
November 20, 2007
Had these goggles for almost a month now and I'm loving them. Every time I put them on I feel I'm about to race formula 1 cars in the 70's. Tons of style but with the right specs. The Spy ventilation system keeps my view clear even after I take a seat and let the heat catch up to me. Also the dual adjustable strap fits comfortably with or without my helmet on. The lenses are not a perfect mirror (you can see into the goggles a little) but serve their purpose when blocking the bright snow and glare from anything in the sky or on the hill.

The Brazilians have it right
Havaianas Brasil Sandal - Men's
November 14, 2007
This is the real flip flop. Almost all flips flops stem or try to be at close to havaianas as possible. Brazilian sandals know how to make their footwear. I've been wearing these Havaianas sandals since I was four years old. When I saw them being sold in the states my jaw dropped. These sandals are super comfortable and last for years! The longer you wear them the harder it gets to let go of them or start a new pair till you try them on. Comfy cushion and smooth tongue makes these the ideal flip flop. They are authentic too, so how can’t go wrong because you have the best and real thing.
