Bomber on- and off-piste

Patagonia Primo Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 29, 2007

This jacket is the typical high quality I've come to expect from Patagonia. It performs especially well in the backcountry. I've taken it out a few times and I can already tell it's going to last years and years. The fabric is 100% recycled and super-durable. Great material, great cut, plenty of length for the deep powder, I'd definitely recommend this jacket.

Well Constructed, Not a Good Fit for Some

Mountain Hardwear Tenacity Descent Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 November 1, 2007

This jacket is very well constructed. I liked the features and the style. However, it didn't fit like I hoped it would. I'm 5'10", 140 lbs. and a small was a bit too short but baggy under the arms. Especially for backcountry, I'd prefer something a bit longer and more fitted. Overall, a good jacket from MH, just didn't work for me.
