Ulu Suora
ULU Suora Winter Boot - Women's
February 10, 2008
These are the best! Tall enough, warm enough and comfortable enough to walk in deep snow on bitter cold days in perfect comfort! AND they're beautiful! They make me very happy! The soles have amazing traction, compared to many other boots I've tried. Solid. Can't say enough good about these boots and you can't lose with this siste's easy return policy and excellent price! If you're between sizes, order up. I wear some shoes 8.5, some shoes 9. The 9s fit perfectly. Also, very easy to get on and off, for a slip on!

Couldn't be happier
Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero Parka - Women's
December 27, 2007
Love everything about this parka! The hood, the length, the ability to seal the sleeves and bottom from the chill wind. No need to wear layers under a down jacket like this -- in fact the less you wear under it, the warmer you'll be. Sizing is true to fit. Really happy with this parka! The price and service can't be beat!

Great Jacket, Awesome Company
Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero Parka - Women's
November 28, 2007
First want to express my deep thanks to this site for being one of the best online companies I've done business with! Bought a North Face Tamba Kosi jacket in Sept. A few weeks ago, it finally was cold enough for a down jacket. Wore it to walk my dog and for the first time in my life, I was COLD in a down jacket! I was so disappointed. Read the reviews for this MH Sub Zero Parka and decided rather than be cold all winter, I'd bite the bullet and buy it. On the off chance they'd take back the original jacket I bought in Sept, I called the site.. No problem! They issued an RMA and offered faster shipping on the new jacket. So quick, so easy! Three days later the MH Sub Zero came and I knew immediately it was far superior to the one I returned. Based on reviews I ordered a size up. I'd have to say this jacket is true to size because the large is too big. I'm 5' 8" about 130 lbs., often sleeves on med. are too short, but sleeves on the large are too long even for me. Haven't received the medium yet, but already know it's going to be my favorite winter jacket. Tip: down is very insulating. The less you wear under it, the better it works. (As long as you're "sealed" in.) No need to get a larger size for layers. Sorry for the long review, but just had to sing the praises of this wonderful company as well as this awesome parka! Now if it would just SNOW! :/

Maybe for mild winters
The North Face Tamba Kosi Jacket - Women's
November 28, 2007
Should have paid more attention to the reviews that complained about cold seeping up from bottom of jacket. You can seal the waist okay, but from bottom to waist you can't. Put it to the test a few weeks ago when temps dropped into 20s. For the first time in my life, I was actually cold wearing a down jacket! I was bummed! Returned it and bought a Mountain Hardware Sub Zero Parka. You'll pay more, but you'll be cozy! Down Tip: Lots of reviews, people say they wear layers under down? This is not right. If you have the right fit, and can seal off air leaks (cuffs, bottom, etc) the less you wear under it the better. Just a tip, from the High Sierras. ;)
