well built, lack features

The North Face Jester Backpack - 1850cu in

Rating for this product: 2 September 25, 2008

While this is another well built pack from The North Face, it does lack features. It has the one main compartment, and only one other zipped pocket. The water bottle pockets have no zippers, and are only a pouch really. The pack is a little small for school use, especially if you have lots of textbooks, and/or a laptop. As for hiking, it may do as a light daypack. I returned my Jester for a refund. If you want a really great pack for school use, with a dedicated laptop pocket, along with many, many features, look for the packs by STM. They come with a lifetime warranty, and they rock!

Nice Jacket, Nice Price too.

SMS Puffer Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 August 22, 2008

This is a nice jacket, with lots of warmth packed in. It is not a jacket made by TNF, or other top manufacturers. It is however, a simple quality down jacket, at a very reasonable price. The design features are a little simple, which I found to be unfortunate. But you get what you pay for. This jacket will do the job, if your budget dictates this price range.

Awesome pants

Mountain Hardwear Runout Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 30, 2007

These pants are the best thing I have found in quite some time. They fit right off the rack. Ultra comfortable. I don't climb, but thought I'd try them on anyways. Glad I did. I ordered 2 more pair from you guys Mountain Hardwear stuff is great!
