Purchased to wear in the gym. Though labeled trail runner/water shoe, I thought they might be comfy and cool as a workout shoe. Normaly I wear the basic leather crosstrainer type shoe but, my feet get hot. Theses shoes have turned out just as I'd hoped. They're very comfy, greaT support, with the webbed net fabric it keeps my feet very cool. I LOVE THEM!!!!! Only issue is Salomons run a tad wide, a good thick breathable sock picks up the slack. Shoe looked good but was just huge all around my foot. I'm a very normal size 7. Not narrow or wide. This shoe fit more like a Wide 8. Beth
