Not quite right for the S6
Suunto Vector Strap Kit
September 2, 2003
The S6 has a different mounting mechanism so this strap doesn't quite fit very well. (I feel nervous trusting my watch to it).

Great Watch. What I dreamed of.
Suunto Vector Strap Kit
September 2, 2003
On the Mountain: It does automatic run counts and distance during the day so it does what my old Avocet does. The max descent rate is harder to get though. On the Laptop: The data logging is great. The Windows App is OK and you can export to a datafile for linux use but it is a little bit hard to use. Selecting logs is unintuitive (it doesn't follow the Windows look and feel at all). But the graphs and statistics are great. You get vertical distance and time riding the lifts, sliding down the hill and waiting in queues or having lunch. I REALLY recommend you set the altitude at the start of the date before you start the logging. The PC app doesn't let you delete bad samples so this can be a real pain. Also if you use the PC app at the mountain away from your home network and you get an 'access denied' message - try deleting a network printer. It worked for me after much debugging in a house up the mountain in a semi drunken state.
