These are the first Gore-Tex skiing pants I've bought and I decided to get the best. Arc'teryx did not disappoint me with these massive pants. Butt and knees are reinforced which feels very solid. Sizing was quite difficult as I do not live in the US, but I received some good help from the 'live-help-person'. I'm 6'0" and 32x34 in jeans and ordered a Large-Tall which fits great. Only the boot gaiter may be a little long, but as you put it over your shoe that's ok. The pants are very roomy and allow layering, but they do not look baggy!

Tried a couple of other softshells (both Windstopper and Polartec Powershield) but the fit of this jacket is just the best! The sleeves are actually quite long for me (I'm 6'0" and got a Large), but that will prove it's value when cycling (I'm Dutch) or iceclimbing. Really like the fabric, as it is incredibly stretchy and allows great movement. Furthermore, Arc'teryx pays so very much attention to details, which is reflected in the finishing of e.g. the zippers and the lining of the jacket.
