The crossbar works well; is plenty sturdy, doesn't make the wind-noise that my rectangular bar makes, and is a thrill for my 10 year old to grab ahold and swing into and out-of the truck. I'd say Yakima makes a better product.

Wow what a sandal. Straps are placed such that they snug across the instep and they DON'T PINCH THE TOES. I recommend them to those who want a secure fitting sandal that leaves all five toes free to wiggle.
