Not tough enough.

I am confused by all the good reviews these shoes are getting. I really like the look and fit. The closure system is great progress. HOWEVER, these shoes are glued all around, which made me skeptical to start with. Sure enough the rubber is coming off the fabric around the toe cap after hiking every weekend for about 1 month. Such a shame but looks like a design flaw.

Coming apart
KEEN Gunnison Hiking Shoe - Men's

As another reviewer mentioned these were coming apart at the seams after the 3rd day out hiking. Also I have wide feet but these shoes are even wider and don't give good support when scrambling. Disappointed.
