Style & Function

I bought this knife for my husband who works ski patrol at a local mountain. He needs a knife for work and is very picky about the ease of use. He also appreciates good design. This knife can be operated with one hand, and it looks great. He's very, very happy with it! |

Flattering Jacket!
03-07-08 ![]() |
OK - so most jackets are boxy and make you look like you have a sweater or two under them. This is a really flattering jacket, especially if you have curves. It is tapered nicely at the waist. I usually wear a small to x-small and in this jacket the extra small fit quite nicely. This works well as a sweater as well as a jacket. And I am really, really sensitive to itchy wool and this is a NO ITCH jacket, thanks to the comfy lining. |

Green Shorts Stack Up
07-13-07 ![]() |
I bought these shorts for my husband because they were a screaming deal AND they're a pretty green product (using bamboo along with cotton and no chemical treatments). The bonus was that these shorts look great. While they'll work on the trail, they also are good looking enough for a casual summer party. They were true to men's waist sizing. |

My new favorite sweater
09-24-07 ![]() |
This wool sweater looks great -- and has a soft, fleecy lining that makes it very, very comfortable. Not bulky at all and the fit is very flattering (follows your body). Fits true to size: I'm 5 foot 1 inch tall and weigh 123 pounds and the small fits just right. Stand up collar makes it a great look for the office (the collar is more of a stand-up style than in the picture). I wear this sweater by itself (without a T-shirt underneath). Love it! |

Awesome light hiking shoe - and everyday shoe
09-07-07 ![]() |
This is a great light hiking/approach shoe -- and a great every day shoe. My husband won't wear any other shoe now -- and we're ordering him a second pair to prepare for the day when he burns through these! |

Great workout shirt
09-07-07 ![]() |
OK - let's start with the important part: This shirt looks good on. I'm 5 foot 1 inch tall, 126 pounds and a size small fits fine, but is just a little loose (no Lycra in this shirt). Great shirt for workouts... plus, it has The Goat on it! |

The best dog light ever
02-13-08 ![]() |
I take my dogs running in the dark in the morning and also camping. This is the single best dog light you could buy. Clip on dog lights tend to move around on the collar and can get 'lost' in dog fur. And the blinking of regular dog lights can get annoying (for me). This collar is so easy to see and the dogs don't mind it at all. The last time we went camping on a moonless night, our dogs went swimming with these collars on (no problem with water) and our friend's dogs had clip-on lights -- that got lost. My dogs weigh 80 pounds each and I got them the large. It fits a little loose, but I leave on their regular collars with tags and just add this one. |

Brightest light out there -- and rechargable
09-07-07 ![]() |
I use this headlamp for trailrunning in the fall & winter at around 5:30am. There are lots of deer and moose in the area, so having a headlamp that puts out a ton of light is critical. Last year I was using Black Diamond's Vectra IQ headlamp which threw a good beam, but it burned through batteries much too quickly for my liking. If you need a light that puts out a ton of light -- this is the one for you. |

Excellent for everyday car organization
08-19-07 ![]() |
If you like to carry a lot of stuff in your car -- and you're organized, this system is perfect for you. In the summer I carry two in my car: one with gear & clothes for a first responder team and the other with standard car stuff & emergency gear(maps, window cleaner, umbrella, flashlight, extra fleece, hat, water, energy bars & a book). In the winter I add in the winter emergency bag of warm clothes, boots, extra mittens & gloves, goggles & waterproof jacket & pants. Packed into these bags, all of this gear takes up remarkably little room when it is organized! |

Love this shirt!
07-24-07 ![]() |
This shirt is as cute on as it looks in the picture. Good amount of stretch to the material makes it fitted, but not crazy tight. I'm just over 5 feet and found that the small fit just right for length, but it might be a bit short on taller people. Neckline is very good... not too high. |

A little squishy, but great on the downhill
07-24-07 ![]() |
While initially these felt a little more soft & squishy than I'm used to, the benefit became apparent when running downhill... my knees don't hurt! As for sizing, another review said to go down a size. I found them to be very true to size. I wear between a women's 7 & 7.5 and went for the 7.5. Very happy with the fit. Added benefit is a decent sized toe box. Thank you! |

Warm, comfy, waterproof
03-07-08 ![]() |
These boots are it if you live in snowy or slushy parts of the country. The bottom half of the boot is totally waterproof and they are sooooo warm. No problems with the zipper -- it locks down once you've zipped them up. They are very true to size. I wear a 7 to 7.5, bought the 7.5 and they are slightly big. Hindsight I should have got the 7. But I love em still. The ONLY drawback is that they are a bit clunky (not designed to be a dress boot) -- but I think that's an OK trade off for having them be really warm, comfortable and waterproof. |

A bit oversized
02-25-08 ![]() |
This is a very, very nice jacket -- particularly if you like the ski town look (and I do). The detail on the jacket is nice and it is warm enough to wear like a sweater but not too bulky. This jacket does not run true to size -- and other Kuhl items I have do run true to size. I usually wear a small and ordered both the small and extra small. They were both too big -- and the small was even big on a colleague of mine who usually wears a medium. If this was sized better, I would have kept this coat and probably would have worn it too much :-) |

Cozy & flattering
09-24-07 ![]() |
This sweater has a great look with the big stand-up turtle neck, but the rest of the sweater is not bulky at all. With only 30% wool, this sweater does not itch at all. Fits true to size and is quite body flattering -- and is a great look with jeans for after skiing or even the office. |

Great look for the office
09-24-07 ![]() |
A co-worker of mine wore this to work and luckily she didn't mind if I bought the exact same sweater (imitation is the greatest form of flattery). Stand-up collar gives this sweater a more finished look -- while still keeping it casual. Fits true to size. |

Love the pack; hate the pattern

While the black stripe is pretty ugly (IMHO), this is a wonderful and amazing pack. It fits close to the back, but has TONS of room for my laptop & a bunch of other stuff. Nice features include a fleecy/soft place for my sunglasses and an insulated pocket for lunch! |

Easy to fill & great size
09-07-07 ![]() |
With this baby, you only need one size. The wide mouth makes this Omega HydroTanium Reservoir easy to fill, and it is a great size for anything from mountain biking to a weekend backpack trip (bring refills or a water filter if you're going for a weekend ...). |

This pack has a good-size laptop sleeve that is right next to your back, then three additional pockets for tons of gear. One of the features I like best is the compression straps on the slides of the pack -- so if it is not full you can cinch it down. Easy access front pocket is quite helpful too! |

Tight shirt
09-07-07 ![]() |
Can't say I love this shirt... it fits very, very tight (I usually wear a small and bought a medium -- and even it is tight) and the fabric is pretty thin. The neckline and shape of the shirt is great, but that's about it... |

Hate packs; Loved this one
08-23-07 ![]() |
I am generally a huge fan of lumbar packs and not such a fan of running with a backpack -- but this is the exception. Like most women with waist that is smaller than their hips, my lumbar hydration pack rides up and flops around when I run. I was wonderfully surprised how stable this hydration pack was for trail running. I was skeptical that it didn't have a waist or chest strap, but found that it doesn't need one. Super stable, even on the downhills, and the pocket holds a cell phone and keys just fine. Could stuff a windbreaker in with the hydration pack -- but overall a very low profile. Awesome pack. |

Insulated, but not too warm
07-24-07 ![]() |
I was a little worried these might be too warm -- but I just finished a run in 60 degree weather and they were just fine. And they'll be perfect when it hits 50 or below. Tons of knee, quad & hamstring support -- which is great for running trails. Surprising technology that actually makes my legs feel better than if I was wearing something else. |

So I have about 6 pairs of Dansko clogs and the red ones are now my very, very favorite. They are just a little more fun than the other colors. I live in a ski town and the Dansko Professional is the standard footwear for most people who work in the ski industry. |

The Women's Telemark Boot of the Season
09-24-07 ![]() |
OK - so I haven't skied these yet -- but I did buy them. According to every product review I've read and every shop employee I've talked with, this is THE women's telemark boot of the season. Everyone said "Buy it now because it is going to sell out." I've been skiing the men's three buckle T1s for a few years and the four buckle is sure to improve the performance. And these boots are super, super light. |
