Marmot Diva 55 Backpack - Women's - 3200-3400cu in
June 26, 2007
The lack of torso adjustment really hit home for me. I'm a short woman, but I'm not abnormally short legged or short torsoed, and while I haven't measured myself for a pack, I thought it was reasonable that a small pack would be a good fit. Wrong. The allegedly 16" torso for the S was too long and could not be adjusted. Moreover, the "removable" top cover design was really weird and made it a little challenging to adjust the shoulder stability straps. The pack also lacks side water bottle pockets, so mine were clipped on and swaying as I walked, although the pack is supposed to be hydration pack compatible (I didn't test this). The pluses for the pack are the separate sleeping bag compartment and mesh pockets on the waist belt.
