This is a great helmet the locking mechanism on the back cinches this thing securely to my head, never concerned about it. Has excellent ventilation with its design, straps are a little awkward feeling but they feel good so it is ok

Pretty much it is perfect even though recommended use doesn't include cycling I used it on a 13hour ride that went late into the night. Its throw distance was a little frightening to be using it while going to so fast but light never dimmed or anything even after being on for 4+hrs. Never used in adverse conditions so can't comment on that, but it is bare by design not much could really get jacked up.
