warm fleece bodice
Spyder Bitsy Ruby Pant-Toddlers'
June 27, 2008
My daughter (2.5yrs) loves the "tutu pink" color we bought her, Mom loves how warm & soft the fleece bodice is. These pants are very feminine but functional; unlike most of the other Spyder models this one is less tomboyish, my daughter looks very ladylike in these pants & matching jacket.

Good sized bottle
CamelBak Better Bottle w/ Bite Valve - .5L
June 16, 2008
I bought this bottle for my active 4-year-old to bring along to his various sports classes, its the perfect size as 0.5 liter is significantly larger than his kiddy sippy cups thus ensuring that he will not run out. It's easy for him to use and the bite valve prevents spillage or leakage. The bottle fits nicely into his school backpack, 0.5l should be sufficient when he starts full-day school this fall. As not many kids use Camelbak my son can easily identify his bottle and is proud of his "adult" bottle. So far the bottle has survived his rough handling, the snap open valve is a cinch even for his little hands. I would recommend this bottle.

Great Bag, cavernous capacity
Mountainsmith Buttress Rolling Gear Bag - 9398 cu in
June 11, 2008
I bought this bag for long trips with my 2 toddlers, and for shopping trips to the United States. It did not disappoint at all; it is very well constructed, and its capacity is incredibly large. On a recent trip to the US, we had 40-50 mail order packages containing a year's supply of kids' summer & winter clothes, ski outerwear, toys, books and a pair of rollerblades; the bag easily accommodated everything with room to spare. The adjustable dividers are very useful and fold flat when not in use. With both dividers in use the bag is divided into 3 sections, this allows us to neatly pack each child's clothes while the 3rd section is used shoes & toys. The bag is very versatile, its large main compartment accommodates large or long equipment and its robust construction is able to withstand airlines' sometimes rough baggage handling. I would only caution against airline weight restrictions, when fully packed, our bag weighed close to 90lbs which may be too much for some airlines although we have not encountered any problems on trans-Atlantic or trans-continental flights. Overall a great bag, highly recommended.

Won't travel without them again
Eagle Creek Pack-It Cube
January 27, 2008
Excellent packing accessory, we use the Cube for adult shirts and blouses, and the Half Cubes for the kids, keeps everything organized and easy to locate. Best of all the Cubes help to compress clothes so we could pack more. Buy them!

Great for organizing your suitcase
Eagle Creek Pack-It Half Cube
January 9, 2008
I bought a few of these to pack my kids (2 & 3 yrs) clothes for a 2-week Christmas trip; when we got back Stateside I immediately ordered a few more because they were so useful. 1 color for each kid, keeps their different clothing items (T-shirts, long johns) organized and easy to find. The cubes also serve to "compress" clothes so that more can fit into a suitcase. I use the Half Cube to pack the kids' change of clothes for the 10-hour flight from Europe, it made things easy to spot while keeping my carry-on organized. The Half Cube is also useful in the diaper bag as diapers & wipes fit nicely in this size. The carry handle makes it easy to bring diapers and toddler into bathrooms without having the lug the entire bag. Highly recommended, buy them in different sizes and you will find uses for them. We have at least 10 and that's still not enough!

Great for stuffing winter clothes
Granite Gear Toughsacks
January 9, 2008
I bought a bunch of these to pack my munchkins' (2 & 3 yrs) winter clothes for a 2-week Christmas trip, and love them. I managed to stuff 3 pairs of ski pants into a size 4 sack, and ski jumpsuits each fit into a size 3. I wonder why I hadn't bought them before. They are also great for organizing small items like hair ornaments and toys. They compress bulky clothes so well that we managed to pack everything into our bags without exceeding airlines' allowances. I have never been able to pack so much gear into so few bags. I highly recommend them.

Lightweight, warm jacket, very versatile
The North Face WindWall 1 Jacket - Women's
December 6, 2007
I bought this jacket to layer under my ski jacket, and tho I have yet to go skiing this season I love this jacket!, Its lightweight and warm, packs well, and love the fact that its not a fuzzy fleece. I wear it in late fall and still wear it now in winter (early Dec.). On "warmer" days (40° or more) I wear it as an outside layer when taking my kids to school, on colder days I layer it inside a winter jacket. Fits well and looks great. Its smooth surface allows me to wear it to "less sporty" occasions like dining out. I would recommend this jacket.
