GigaPower Windscreen
Snow Peak GigaPower Windscreen
June 4, 2003
The GigaPower Windscreen may add a couple ounces to your pack but you'll save it in fuel consumption. A liter of water boiled 45 seconds faster with the windscreen as compared to without it. That could mean a couple more meals per gas cylinder. Also, with a steady breeze the stove simmered very well with the windscreen. I guess I'll have to cut off a couple more inches of my toothbrush handle to make up for the added weight.
