What's with the sizing of this pack? Only S and M are offered... Do these refer to back length, as w/ most packs, or just to pack volume? (If the former, I'd assume a size L would be offered as well...)

These shorts are great! Very comfortable, great fit. I've found the velcro utility pocket on the side to be very useful, as well. My only qualm is that these are pre-worn-in, which means I'll get that much less use out of them myself. However, they seem sturdy enough, and I'm sure still I'll get many, pleasant years of use out of them. Overall, I'm very pleased and would recommend them to others.
