It rained hard last weekend and I was thrilled as I would get to test this jacket. The water beaded off even after 5 hours of immense downpour. The fit is great I am 5ft 1in and wanted a short jacket that would be flexible and light weight for hiking. I was able to layer up under the jacket and reminded warm despite the freezing point temperature. I have the pimento colour and love it, I was worried about it looking too pink, but in natural light it looks more red. Like all of Arc'Teryx's clothing this jacket carries a high price tag, but does the job well.

I bought the short version of the slider pant as I am only 5ft 1in and weigh about 115lbs. I was surprised and delighted to find the pants are stretchy which makes them very comfortable. The fabric is soft too. The length is perfect for me, and the waist is not too low like some of those newer jeans!!!
