the fit is tight .. it's meant to tho. I am a medium and this sweater fits like a glove. the material does pill and it is not wind proof .. wear this as a mid layer if you are the type that gets cold easy. the quality of the stitching is superb. best bet is to get a good sale or, think about buying wool for this kind of price.
