Small for the sizing chart where as the North Face sizing chart was accurate at the XXL level. Even when it isn't zipped the collar rubs my neck abrasively. Good for pencil necks maybe. Reasonably comfortable but I won't buy any more of them.

I bought several performance shirts not knowing what I would like. I don't like this. One short hike with a child carrier and it was stinky. I give it a two because at least it is cool on a hot day.

Best performance shirt I've tried. I have worn it a half dozen times with a child carrier pack on hot days for one to five mile hikes. Still doesn't smell. The black wicks moisture so fast that it is actually cool in the sun when you would think black would be warm. Very comfortable, not too syntheticky like some. The orange is real cool too.

I bought one pair along with the X-sock hikers. The hikers are too warm for me. These are tight like TED socks so they force the blood back up your legs. Feels real good after a while. After five mile pack hikes sitting down for just a few minutes gets the feet feeling well recovered. Very cool, no sweatiness in the hiking boots. I used them for several hikes without washing and they are still odorless. Price, ouch.

I bought another three pair plus the lightweight running socks and Storm sock. I think they are really great socks. I won't put them in the dryer anymore as that seems to harsh em. I can't wait until all my Thorlo running socks have holes in them and can be tossed.

Nice zipper, can be cooling on long hikes with a pack on your back. Zipped a little or more and it rubs my neck. I must be a no neck knuckle head compared to some of you. A little too warm for me on a spring day of 60 so I won't wear it in the summer. It does look nice and the fit was pretty good according to the size chart.
