Ok, to be totally fair, I know that climbing shoe selection comes down to personal preference. I just don't tend to do very well with La Sportivas in general. I thought I'd like these and they simply didn't work for me -- that said, I have numerous climbing friends who LOVE La Sportivas - - so please give 'em a shot if you so desire -- but I prefer full heel cups that don't get crushed after a few uses. Of course - I have narrow heels. Hope this helps!!

This jacket is awesome. We bought a red one for our son and this gray one was for our daughter. It's wonderful - -the shell is truly waterproof, and with the liner, it would be great for waaaay-cold weather. Of course, it was 72 freakin' degrees in Utah when we used these jackets!!! Apparently Mr. Gore is right.

These pants are great - -but my daughter, a snowboarder, had issue with the "farmer" look. Oops!! Missed the Mother of the Year award on that front! But the pants are great. The only thing is that they really run big. Really, really big. It would be great if the straps had more velcro so that they could be made even shorter than they currently can be. But the pants worked great on the slopes.

This jacket will work beautifully while we're snowboarding - -and climbing trees, getting into snowball fights, etc. It's perfectly made for good hard fun.

Yes, they're cams. Yes, they work, and yes, I trust them with my life. Now, that said, if you haven't learned how to place cams, there aren't any cams in the world that will save your hyde. So, know your stuff -- and when you get ready to buy cams......hook a bunch of these to your gear loops. Peace.

I love my regular Safe Tech - -bought this one after I spent endless hours hanging off a cliff to shoot photos of another climber. Haven't used the Waldo yet - but am looking forward to it. The backs of my thighs will be grateful for the wide leg bands when I hang out shooting again!!!

Very strong. Very easy to use. In short, they're exactly what they're advertised to be.

My climbing partner and I spent a very windy night in this tent just before climbing at Rumbling Bald in NC. This is a great tent - -very roomy for us, and extremely durable. It sure kept us warm - - not that it was blizzard weather or anything, but when we woke up the first morning it was just under 30 degrees outside but we were much warmer in the tent. Perfect.

Actually ended up buying two of these, and my kids love them. They're great for quick escapes to run to the potty! And they seem to keep the kids upright just fine when they're hauling themselves up the rock! Thanks!

Love it. Used a men's harness before. It was fine, and I was actually skeptical about the value of anything manufacturers claimed was made just for women...but this harness is a gem. I'm actually comfortable in it. And while I'm a fairly slender female, I'm not Naomi Campbell - so I don't have skinny skinny legs. And this harness is kind to the legs I have! Thanks!
