The North Face Redpoint Optimus Jacket - Men's
March 28, 2007
feels good and looks great. for active winter sports in moderately cold conditions. it is not a heavy coat. it compresses to the volume of a large grapefruit, and has a comfortable fit that allows for layering. unfortunately, no vents or powder skirt. it runs a little short on the torso and the hood is a good size for the head but doesn't make it over a helmet.

The North Face Freedom Pant - Men's

a comfortable fit with great ventilation. they also have a number of secure and easy access pockets. my only complaint is the bottom. there is not a clip on the powder guard, which would be nice for snowboarders and snowshoers. they are also a little short for the size.
