I have another pair of prAna pants, in size medium, and they are huge. So I ordered these in a medium as well, knowing that they're supposed to be a closer fit than the others. They are much smaller than the other prAna M, and are also very low rise- fine- but the problem for me is that the waistband narrows in like it should if the pants fit higher- and my waist is not that low. The other thing is that the fabric looks like it should be canvas, but is actually a lightweight fabric PRINTED with diagonal stripes to give it that effect, so the printed lines are scratchy and lok terrible up close. Surprisingly low-quality fabric, in my opinion.

Tricky sizing. I was on the fence between ordering an S or a M. If you have doubt, go small. The vest was HUGE compared to my body, almost bell-shaped, although it did fit around the chest. It was also much too long for my torso. Returned it for a S, which fits much better overall, although snug in the chest.
