I have used this bag in grassy fields, on the side of a 14er, and on top of a snow bank, and have been comfortable every time. There is enough room to move a little, and the collar doesn't rub me the wrong way when drawn tight. Very light, very compact, an excellent 3-season bag for Colorado backpacking.
