Bought these boots last in January, '07 and have used them for surveying in Rocky Mountains in rugged conditions (no trails - we make our own). Good traction and comfortable boot. It looks kind of bad from all the abuse it takes, but is lasting longer than other boots I have used in the same conditions. Got them on sale for around $160 - I wouldn't pay more than $175 for them.
