Warm, Good Fit, Great Length

Icebreaker Skin200 Legless Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 2, 2007

I purchased these for my foray back into skiing. I had my boots custom fit and I did not need to deal with the extra length of the typical pant bunching up in the boot, or cutting into my leg rolled up. These were very warm for December Utah skiing/boarding and true to the description they store heat on the ride down and release it on the lifts. Highly recommended. Also not itchy at all.

Good Sock for the price

Lorpen Antibacterial Ski Socks

Rating for this product: 4 January 2, 2007

I think this was a good sock for the price. They fit extremely well and did not bunch up anywhere. The do pull up almost over my knee, but settled after the boot was on. They worked perfectly and I am going to pick up a few more pairs before my next trip.

AC3 Demo

Volkl Unlimited AC3 Titanium Alpine Ski w/ Motion iPT 12.0 Piston Binding

Rating for this product: 5 January 2, 2007

I got a chance to demo these ski's at Brighton, Alta and Solitude this season. I have not skied in 10 years, and these are the first pair of real skis I got on. I was asking for a ski that was a little on the aggressive side. This ski was great for carving, I was doing a lot of bumps and it stood up well. I went through some crud and it handled it very well. Over all, this is a fantastic ski. I think I am going to move up to the AC4 because I want to do more powder, but I highly recommend this ski to someone doing crud and groomers.
