This is THE beaner I use across my rack. Gone are the heavy and bulky Ovals (they serve a purpose) to be replaced by a mix of these and Hotwires.

This is it. This is the one weapon you reach for when you're not sure if you you're heading to a gun or knife fight. Warm, windproof and comfy. Layers over a insulation layer brilliantly.

I'm an anything Cloudveil guy. This product is by no means any different from the other gear they make. These are comfy and I love the lycra giving them some shape.

Metolius Haul bags are the best your $$ can buy. Having been an avid fan for years the natural next step was the haul "pack". This thing makes an burly pack for cragging, lasting a generation. My only complaints are that 1) it lacks a sternum strap and 2) I wish it were a hair larger. Having said that, I still thing this fits the bill for cragging with anything but a wall rack. OR, use it as a smaller bag on your next BigWall

Helmets are key but many forget they are only good if you have them on your head. Bulky, heavy, and poor ventilation all are good reasons to not wear the things. Not a problem with this rig where once it's on, you nearly forget about it until you need it. A bit $$ and more delicate that the Half-Dome, it serves a good purpose as my "everyday" helmet on all but wall's. My one gripe, the headlamp clips don't inspire confidence.

The new style of Black Diamond Camalots are simply the best. Lighter, stronger, easier to place and clip. You simply cannot go wrong with these. Heck, I even offloaded my old style Camalots to make room for the C4's. get 'em!
