the best mini tool
Leatherman Micra Multi-Tool
August 25, 2007
This thing is great. The knife is surprisingly easy to use and the scissors were incredibly useful. Perfect size for a keychain, just don't try to bring it through airport security like I did.

Really comfortable, but stay on flat ground
Chaco Latitude Sandal - Men's
August 25, 2007
Although I looked at the synthetic soled Chaco flip, I really wanted a comfortable sandal for walking around town. Although the break-in period was rough - I resorted to rubbing the strap between my toes with a rock to soften it up - I now love these guys for the foot support and comfortable soles. I have to emphasize that this is a casual sandal. The trade off of that buttery leather sole is that you slide right out of them when walking uphill. These are worthless on the trail but perfect for just about everything else. Definitely worth the price for Chaco name - I can see myself wearing these 4 years from now with no problems.

CRKT B.U.L.L. Knife
August 25, 2007
I picked up two of these on SteepandCheap and gave one to my bro. It's an excellent small knife that stood up to some serious beatings. Opening and closing the knife is really a joy. All you need to do is use the thumb stud to quickly rotate the blade out about 10 degrees and the mechanics of the knife will do the rest. The next folder I buy will be a CRKT for sure because I can only imagine how smooth the mechanics are on their higher priced models.
