I love mine, it's quite a bit different than this particular one (casa 6) but it is very high quality construction and very good design.

Looks like they're out of them at the moment, might have to wait for this year's model to come in.

I would assume it could be used with any pad, as it basically seems like a long piece of elastic with velcro to secure it.

It is probably slightly smaller than the tent, mostly it is just not bigger, so that it doesn't collect water when it rains.

Does inside not work? This pack is quite large, there would be plenty of room inside for the tent. If it has to be on the outside, I would recommend maybe putting the tent poles on the side or across the bottom in the straps, and then putting the body of the tent at the top of the pack, inside.

Yes and no. Yes it can be used, and it will work just fine, it is the same material Nalgenes were made out of until recently. The no part comes from the risk of BPA leaching in something like this. Lexan is generally safe, and so far research only shows that the BPA is leached in significant amounts when it is heated. So it can be, it just may not be the best idea to do so.

On my Kelty, the footprint sets by lining up the stake loops with the ones on the tent, and staking through.

Any reason a regular long sleeve jersey or shirt won't do the trick? These are for cold days when it ends up warm (or vice versa), which is why they are modular, but I would think for sun protection in heat, a long sleeve shirt would do just as well.

Do you mean safety glass like you get in a windshield (shatter resistant) or do you mean safety glass like OSHA or MSHA approved for working?

I have 9.5 EEEE feet and for some reason I've had good luck with cycling shoes. SIDI in road and Nike or Specialized for MTB.

Backcountry does actually carry at least one of SIDI's shoes in the Mega(wide) sizes. Check out the SIDI Zeta SID0013. I have a wide foot (15 4E) and these fit phenomenally well.

If you look at the picture, the side to the left in the image is the neck hole. Then, Cheechoo's legs go one either side of that center strap that makes a Y off the neck hole. Then those two back plush looking straps are for his belly so you can pick him up if need be (Warning, not all dogs are fans of being picked up, I would try a small test lift first before teeth are at face level) Hope this helps you and Cheechoo.

It makes a difference in the weight. 800 fill means that one ounce of down fills up 800 cubic centimeters, whereas 600 would be 600 cubic centimeters. So the higher number actually means that less down is used because it is a higher quality down that fills more for its weight, making the bag lighter.

I'm not sure about the skis, but I am 1.95 meters (Norwegian/American) and the Arc'Teryx "Long" or "Tall" sizes fit my torso extremely well.

My girlfriend is a similar size, and I ended up buying her the one of the MontBell Burrow (or Hugger if you want down) bags. They're nice because the bag has some elasticity to it, so it maximizes thermal efficiency. They're not women's specific bags, but they have a drawcord on the bottom baffle to make the bag shorter. My girlfriend actually has found that she likes the "bootie" effect that pulling the cord around her ankles gives her. I would recommend that bag 100%

I wouldn't bet on it. I'm roughly the same size, and I would look for a pack that has torso length measurements, even if it is just a short, regular, and long. Look at Gregory and Arc'Teryx specifically.

Plus, you can always return them if they don't fit or you don't like them.

I would go with the size up. My experience is that Chacos fit pretty true to size, but are just a tiny bit small.

Probably not ruined, but you wouldn't want to wear them in a downpour or even afterwards. I would keep them as dry as possible, but if you get sprayed or something, it probably wouldn't mess them up too bad.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It looks like the mesh in this is similar to the mesh in most sun hats, where it is a loose weave to breathe, but not so loose that light actually gets through it.

I like the Pearl Izumi jerseys in a size 2X. I would stay far away from these Italian jerseys unless you want a seriously skintight fit. ZOIC also seems to have sizes that would fit.

There is a link to the sizing chart right underneath the drop down menu to choose your size to order, but I find that Lowas fit pretty true to size, if a little narrow. Hope that helps.

I got this pack at 12 or 13 and used it until just a few years ago (about 10 years of use) It is quite adjustable for growth, and will carry anything worth carrying unless they start to specialize in a certain sport.

this cube is equal to 2 regular cubes (reading it off the box right now) so you would only get one more cube into the hauler I believe.

I have a similar model, and mine is (approximately, as it is buried deep in the gear closet) 25x12x4 inches or so.

You would most likely need an adapter for it, but those can be found at most camping stores, some even have two or three hoses, so you can run multiple propane appliances off the same 20 gal. tank.

Make sure all the straps on the compression sack are completely loosened, and then just stuff it in there. I usually go foot of the bag into the sack first, but that may just be an old habit with no basis in helpfulness. Make sure you don't store the bag in the compression sack, or it will lose a lot of its loft in a relatively short amount of time.

The way ChainLove (and Sac, and WhiskeyMilitia) is that you have to buy it when it is up. One deal at a time is what they call it. So you have to be quick on the trigger to get that price.

I sweat like a maniac, and I don't have a particular preference in regard to mesh vs foam or whatever else they come up with, my back is still going to sweat. I combat it by using a good wicking baselayer, and another shirt over that that wicks or dries fast as well.

Depends on your definition of "eco friendly." Not organic cotton or recycled soda bottles or coconut husks, but it takes more fuel to process those soda bottles or coconut husks than it does to grow and harvest cotton, organic or not.

I would measure yourself and compare it to the size chart, just a height and weight isn't enough to make a good guess because everyone carries their weight in different places. If you're on the border still, it would come down to what kind of fit you prefer, if you want a little more technical, tight fit, then large, but if you like a little more freedom to layer and move, then get the XL.

Camelbak actually makes some electrolyte tablets you can drop in that dissolve like an alka-seltzer, or there are a wide variety of other options that don't have to be dissolved in water. Or you can just mix up a big batch of gatorade and put it in the bladder, just make sure you clan it really well afterwards.

I'm not sure if this model has it, but the synthetic version has a drawcord at the bottom to shut off the last baffle. This model does have a draw cord. The bags are made in Japan, that is why they have smaller sizes.

I would check out Thule's fit guide, I know they make a specific kind of foot pack to mount permanently on fiberglass.

It is, but you'll want to make sure you store it inflated because the pads have some memory to them (i.e. if you store them rolled up, they'll want to stay rolled up and not inflate well) That said, I like mine a little firmer and generally blow an extra breath or three into the pad after in inflates

They should be, both sizes will give you a bit of extra room to get a pillow and whatnot on there without being right on the edge.

I'm not super familiar with the sea to summits, but it is a very fast drying towel. I took it on a river trip and it performed very well.

At 5'6", you're on the edge for height range on this bag, so it'll come down to whether you want to be more comfortable or more thermally efficient. That said, I bought my girlfriend a women's bag, and she likes it a lot more than using one of mine, mostly for the feet warming and general cut of the bag.

The arch support in these is phenomenal. My mom has a whole mess of foot problems, and needs good arch support, and her podiatrist recommended Chacos. Personally, I love mine, and they give me enough support for light hiking, and possibly more, depending on terrain.

Not 100% sure, but I would doubt it, better to get the 185 version and have some extra room.

I have the emergency bivy that is similar to this, and mine is a sort of tyvek-like material, very tough for the weight.

I have this watch and absolutely love it. I don't think there's any noticeable quality difference, except maybe cloth vs. leather strap. It is just a basic watch, with fairly low metal content (for Nixon) which is why it's cheaper.

I would try to contact Sierra Designs to see if you can get a replacement through them.

I got a kelty brand pole from here a couple years ago, but it doesn't look like they sell that anymore. You can get them at most outdoor stores, or you can pitch it with trekking poles or on trees. These tarps are really handy.
