Anon Rufus Sunglasses
December 14, 2006
These glasses are real comfortable on the face and slightly oversized. Great for snowboarding and then heading to main street in Park City during Sundance and pretending to be someone famous. Styling.

Black Diamond FlickLock Expedition Poles - 1 Pair
December 14, 2006
I use these poles for hiking in the backcountry with snowshoes and a snowboard. These poles stow away nicely in the backpack for the ride down. After owning twist lock poles and having them freeze up the FlickLock seems to be the better system. Great pole for a great price.

Voile 3-Pin Telemark Binding
December 14, 2006
Still a great binding if you are looking for light weight and no bells and whistles to fail on you in the backcountry. Plus you get to be an old school pinhead.

Atomic Chugach Touring Ski
December 14, 2006
As usual there is not one perfect tool for the job, but the chugach is pretty close. I live in an area with a lot of little powder stashes of 10-15 turns. These skis are a great way to travel between them and make the most of them when you are there.

Bomb-proof
Patagonia R4 Jacket - Women's
October 24, 2006
Patagonia's clothing is always really well constructed, but this jacket is bomber. Zippers are really sturdy. The best feature is the hidden draw-string cincher on the waist cuff. It's great not to have it hanging down and catching on things like other jackets I own. Only draw-back is that you can't get too close to a campfire. Like all fleece, an ember will burn a hole in the fabric.

Water Girl Kilauea Vest - Women's
October 24, 2006
This vest has really beautiful stitching details. The inner lining on the vest and pockets is really soft and cozy. I was also really surprised how soft the outer fabric is.

Patagonia Two-fer Reversible Hooded Sweatshirt Shirt - Women's
October 24, 2006
The reversible feature on this hoody is awesome. It's like getting 2-for-1 because the different stylings of the pocket and seams makes it seem like two different hoodies. The bit of elasticity to the fabric is nice for mobility.

Flattering
Patagonia Extension Cord Shorts - Women's
October 24, 2006
The cut of these shorts is really flattering. I got the aubergine color. It's like a yummy plum. Like everything Patagonia, they're well-constructed. Seem really durable.

Patagonia Active Tiny Bra - Women's
October 24, 2006
The nice thing about this bra is the elastic support band. It's really soft and comfortable and doesn't cut into my skin like the shelf bras in most camisoles.

Great Design
Water Girl Huli Tunic - Women's
October 24, 2006
This is a great design. Well constructed. Looks great on. Rolled cuffs are really fun. The reversible feature is excellent: makes it two sweaters in one. If you have sensitive skin, the mohair can be a little scratchy, so you'll want to wear a light layer underneath.
