I used it for a week (5 days) and it was definitely more comfortable than the floor, but I can't tell you that it is any better or worse than any other foam mattress pad.

I used it in 40 to 50 degree weather and it was warm. In fact, I couldn't find any vents which would have been great. It has also been durable so far.
