Wow! These skis rock!
Dynastar Legend Pro Rider Alpine Ski
April 28, 2008
Rode 2 days @ Stevens Pass, WA. I’m 5' 8" 160# and went with the 186cm for my ‘big ski’. These skis are more manageable than I'd expected – I might make these my everyday ski. They like to go fast and they like you to charge the mountain and they inspire confidence when you do so. In very tight spaces, they can get a bit unwieldy and I’m not 100% sure they will be appropriate for steep (>50) and narrow couloirs as they love to accelerate. To carve, you just need to get enough speed (35+). A bit skinny for a big powder day/ski which has me wondering about the XXL. If you like to charge hard in the bowls/steeps at places like Whistler, you will be smiling big on this ski. Thanks Dynastar!
