Love to run, hike and enjoy the outdoors. By no means am I avid or extreme. I just like to get out when I can. Oh, and by the way, I'm the top right person in my profile picture.

One of my favorite purchases

CamelBak Alterra Lumbar Pack - .8L

Rating for this product: 5 August 25, 2008

I hate getting dehydrated on longer runs and I hate carrying a water bottle. I tried a traditional hydration pack that goes over your shoulders and couldn't stand the bouncing. This is perfect. It doesn't bounce and it carries just the right amount of water to last me about 1-2 hours on the trail. If I try to wear this on my hips, then it does bounce a bit as it tries to migrate to the most slender part of my torso. I find it best to just place it a bit higher and then it stays put really well.

Good compromise

Bridgedale X-Hale Speed Demon Sock - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 August 25, 2008

These are kind of cool because you get a slightly thicker/padded sock that is still super lightweight. I found them to be quite comfortable.

Good shorts

The North Face Agility Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 25, 2008

I like having lightweight shorts for running, but I am not "daring" enough to wear those tiny runner's shorts with the slits up the sides. These are really comfortable and light. I love running in them.

Good performance, a little short

Sugoi FinoTech T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 August 25, 2008

I like the shirt a lot, but just beware that it is a little short. If you have a long torso, you'll have to get a larger size and then it will probably be too wide. No problem with the shirt, just beware if you have a long torso and you're slender.

Does anyone know if these are good for exercising?

Do they stay in your ear well when you are moving a lot?
