I picked up these boots about a month ago and so far, they are fantastic. With only one day of break in time I summitted Mt. Moosilauke in NH with no pain or hot-spots.

This is only the 2nd pair of gaiters I have ever owned. First pair (also OR Crocodiles) got lost in a move. They protect your upper boot and calf from anything thrown there way from snow to rocks to short dunks in an icy river.
