The North Face Hot Shot is a dream come true

The North Face Hot Shot Backpack - 1850cu in

Rating for this product: 5 April 1, 2007

I bought this pack for my HS freshman -- he has been holding out for the perfect pack and chose this one. He says even when the pack is full the straps are very comfortable on the shoulders and the weight is distributed so it doesn't feel heavy (he uses the cinch straps to hold things snug to the back). There is plenty of room for binders, books, jacket, lunch, and soccer cleats. He's really happy with the solid black look. From a parent's point of view, I think this was money well spent.
