Black Diamond Positron Screwgate Carabiner
December 31, 2006
This is a must have for your daisy chain due to the smooth mouth. It is a solid carabiner with the easiest maneuverability of anything I have seen. Quit wasting valuable time and energy at the top trying to clip into the anchors.

Best value
Black Diamond Quicksilver/Hot Wire Quickdraw
December 31, 2006
This is the best deal anywhere. I love having wire gates to clip into the rope, it slips right into place and is super solid. You need to be aware of which direction you expect to fall to correctly use all quickdraws.

Super Sweet!
Nitro Suprateam Snowboard
December 30, 2006
The board is quick, I mean QUICK! The Suprateam is made with carbon fiber and dynema wrapped on both sides of the core which gives it its characteristic 'pop' and intense all mountain riding power. I am very pleased with this board. This is a must have for all pow days.

Flow Amp 5 Snowboard Binding
December 28, 2006
I really really like these bindings! I always feel super pumped getting off the lift wearing these because I slip my foot in and I'm off! I really love the response I get from these bindings, I had doubts about these but after trying them out I am convinced that they are solid!

I love this lacing system
Nitro Avenger Snowboard Boot - Men's
December 24, 2006
The TLS lacing system is the ultimate in boot technology. The lacing system tightens and locks in two separate areas; over the foot and around the ankle. The advantage in this lacing system is that you can tighten the ankle but leave a little breathing room for the foot. My feet have never been cold and which makes me... HAPPY!

Black Diamond Wired Hexentrics
December 20, 2006
This is my most used, most trusted piece of pro. I consider hexes a necessity to any climber, especially to sport climbers who want a little extra protection between run outs. In my opinion hexes are the most versatile piece of my rack.

Functional
The North Face Venture Jacket - Men's
December 17, 2006
This jacket will keep you dry even in the most extreme down pours. The raised micro-dot HyVent DT material keeps the jacket from feeling sticky by creating hundreds of tiny spaces to keep material away from your skin. I have created my own Himalayan jacket with this as the shell and the redpoint as the insulation. Bomber protection from the elements.

Excellent Shell
The North Face Varius AT Jacket - Men's
November 26, 2006
This shell is perfect matched up with a Denali. For the hardcore I would recommend getting the redpoint to go with this jacket, however the Redpoint Optimus will not zip into this jacket.

Warm! Cozy!
The North Face Redpoint Optimus Jacket - Men's
November 21, 2006
I have always wanted a down jacket that didn't make me feel like the "stay-puff marshmallow man" and the redpoint is the way to go. The jacket is so warm that I can wear it around when temps are in the teens. I haven’t had a chance to wear it in ugly stormy weather but I imagine it will hold up extremely well. My only complaint is the cover material is a little too thin. I poked a very small hole in the sleeve material with a stick that made more damage to my arm than it did to the jacket. Stupid stick!

My favorite snow pant
686 Mannual Militant ll Snowboard Pant - Men's
November 21, 2006
I knew 686 made awesome stuff but these pants are a steal. I have had a chance to ride the smarty but the militant has enough insulation to wear night boarding with an excellent price tag. I picked the mocha color and I think it looks sick.

Good all around
Edelweiss Axis Climbing Rope - 10.3mm
October 15, 2006
This is a great rope, I've taken a few whippers and I am still here to write this review. Great handling with plenty of girth to help control belay speed. Definitely Google this rope to find the best price...
