I just did a 14 mile day hike in the Grand Canyon in these shoes. They performed very well, especially considering I didn't do much to break them in. They felt very stable and capable. I did manage one blister on the side of my big toe, but overall I think these shoes worked well.

Smartwool socks are awesome, and these are no exception. Great cycling, hiking, running, etc. socks.

This sweater is a great piece of gear. Very warm and well~ made. The only complaint that I have is that it is a bit on the short side. I'm going to be wearing this sweater a lot this winter!
