Kelty Light Year Sleeping Bag: 45 Degree Down
October 5, 2005
THIS BAG IS A WINNER! My search began for a lightweight summer/fall bag for a trip to the Grand Canyon. I wanted to lighten my wife's pack, which meant first trimming some weight in mine. I didn't want to spend a fortune, so I went online and searched for: Down, Lightweight, and $$$. The Light Year 45 Degree Down, by Kelty came up with a 1/2 dozen others. I had looked and size tested some of the others in local outdoor gear shops and found the price, size and thought put into the Kelty bag, such as the Toe Box Zipper were really "COOL"...which by the way works. To make a long trail story sweet...This bag exceeded ALL my expectations. I’d recommend it to anyone. Best Franklin I ever spent!
