I first purchased grivel G-12s and later the ATB plates sold individually and pricy for plastic. I bought the BD neves on super sale but w/o ATB plates. For the price i thought the ATBs were also sold individually like grivel. Pleasently supprised to find that BDs logically sell them as a pair. ATBs are esential for any glacial travel, these work as good as any with a great fit and easy instalation.

Yes, they were labeled medium and the fingers looked long enough, but there was no way to get even my wife's bony little hands could squeeze in them. Mtn. Hardwear, Marmot, and REI are all slightly big on me in a medium - so I had hoped that the Arcteryx might give a good snug fit.
