Great mid-weight top!
SmartWool Microweight Zip T-Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's
November 22, 2007
This is a spectacular shirt for a mid-weight top. I have 2 Icebreaker shirts, light and a mid crew, this layer is in- between the weights and feels very smooth on the skin. I tried an Ibex top and this fit tighter and and had less itch. The fit is very form fitting but stretches well for a lightweight under it. We will see how durable it is since this is their (merino) weakness. The collar is also a perfect fit, and I am pickey. Get one now, merino rules w/ no plastic smell and no static!

Patagonia Dimension Jacket
Patagonia Dimension Jacket - Mens
January 13, 2005
This is a great jacket which Patagonia has refined through the years. I had the 2nd year version in a Lg, which was smaller then the current model Lg. This fits great in a medium if you want it close fitting for climbing, moderately stretchy. I can also wear multi layers w/ a fleece or Gamma SV under for lift skiing. The hood is so much better then the old one, as well as the fabric, cut, hems, pockets, zippers, interior, weight, and everything else! Check your sizing first, well worth the money. Hood is fully needed for ice climbing and skiing in New England, I can't believe more softshells don't have them.
