Great Boots for Snow & Slush!

I recently bought these boots and put them to the test in Alaska, from Barrow to Homer. When I first got them I was concerned that they were a bit stiff around the ankle area, but they broke in nicely. They kept my feet warm and dry from walking through snow to walking along the Chukchi Sea coast. A really great boot.
My size 8.5 female foot fits nicely in the size 9. Thus, if you are a 1/2 size, definitely order the next size up.
The "Stout" color is dark brown with some lavender purple accents & laces. You can tell these are women's boots, but they are not overly 'pretty.'
