Ranked #1116 - Alpine Touring Boots

The Dynamite is a definite upgrade from my old two buckle Scarpa Tambos. The heal pocket is secure. The ski-walk switch that unlocks the ankle cuff is a big improvement. No more wrestling with that flip up tab. With the spoiler removed, the boots are comfortable to ski and tour in (I like less forward lean). Dynafit compatibility – the weight savings are great over my Silveretta 500s.
I’d move the middle buckle more toward the ankle and off the arch of my foot. I liked the overlap tongue on the Scarpa thermo liners, because I could lean forward into the cuff on the down hill. The dynamite has a softer forward flex which is nice for touring.
