i just got this and it is defintley sized too big. im usually perfect for S size in northface but this one is way too big. it also has no tightening bungee for the bottom of this vest. sadly, this one is going back

I'm also a large in most clothing but I've found that vests are a consistent exception to this rule. I have Patagonia & Marmot vests and the size Medium fits me best, so based on my history and everyones comments I was debating on ordering a small but went with the Medium and it fits well. Definitely size down and you'll be happy with this vest.

I agree, I have purchased some North Face stuff and usually they are sized for a smaller fit. However this vest seemed like a size or two larger.
